These three documents provide important evidence of the Rohingya people's historical presence and identity in the Arakan (Rakhine) region of Myanmar. The first document is a citizenship application dated 5 December 1989, in which the term “Rohingya” is mentioned. The second is an official government document known as an “AK Photo,” reportedly issued around 29 April 1977. The third document is a Pension Card belonging to a former Arakan government officer, which was also issued by the Myanmar government. These documents may help establish how long the Rohingya people have lived in the Arakan (Rakhine) region and provide documentary evidence supporting the recognition of Rohingya identity by the Myanmar government.
