These old family documents and photographs are more than just pieces of paper but they are part of our history, identity and memories. Rohingya families used to receive these documents from the Myanmar government often with updated family photographs and information each year. For many families, they remain important evidence of the lives they lived in their homeland. Today, these faded documents remind us of the homes we left behind, the families we grew up with and the life we once knew. Behind every photograph is a family, a story and a history that can never be erased. We may have lost our homes, homeland and many of our belongings but these old documents continue to carry a part of our past. A document may fade with time but the history and memories it holds will never fade from our hearts. Intellectual Anuwar Sadek Nky #documentaryphoto #myanmaridentity #rohingyamemories #olddocuments
